Jon Daurio, Esq.

Jon Daurio has extensive experience in all areas of mortgage banking law, including reverse mortgages, consumer compliance and regulatory matters; securitization; and general real estate, corporate, labor, estate, and bankruptcy matters.

In 1992, Jon left private law practice to serve Long Beach Mortgage Company and its predecessor, Long Beach Bank, F.S.B., as Senior Vice President and Corporate Counsel.  He then co-founded Encore Credit Corp., a national wholesale home mortgage lender, as well as its affiliates, ECC Capital Corporation (a publicly-traded REIT) and Bravo Credit Corporation (a national retail home mortgage lender).  Jon also founded, built, and managed Sprint Funding Corporation (a national retail home mortgage lender) and served as its President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director.

In July 2007, Jon founded Kondaur Capital Corporation and served as its Chairman & CEO.  He grew Kondaur into one of the nation's largest buyers and servicers of nonperforming mortgage debt, hiring and managing more than five hundred (500) employees.

Now, with a vastly altered mortgage industry, Jon founded Nikkael Home Loans with a specific focus on servicing senior citizens and reverse mortgages.
